Forge Studio Intelligence Pro privacy policy — effective 16 October 2026
Forge is provided by Static Labs. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions.
Your chats, settings, downloaded models and generated files are stored on your PC. Local-model inference runs on your computer. When you select an external AI provider, Forge sends your requests and relevant conversation, attachments and tool results to that provider. Its privacy policy and retention terms apply.
Work and connected tools can read or change files and execute approved actions according to the permissions you grant. Optional integrations contact their configured services. Model discovery and downloads contact the selected model host, which receives network request information such as your IP address.
Voice features use microphone input when enabled and may use local or selected remote speech services. Remote companion access requires pairing with your PC and shares the requests and outputs needed for enabled features over the configured private connection. You can revoke paired devices on the PC.
Microsoft processes Store purchases and subscriptions. Forge reads Store licence and subscription status to enable your plan; Forge does not receive your payment card details. Manage billing through your Microsoft account.
Static Labs does not sell your chat data or use it for advertising. Data you send voluntarily to support is used to answer your request. You control local retention and may delete chats, files, models and app data on your PC. Deleting local data does not delete information already sent to an external service; contact that provider for its deletion options. Keep backups of work you need.
Protect your PC and private connection and review tool permissions before approving actions. Policy changes will be identified by a revised effective date.
Forge member web workspace
Member sign-in connects this browser to your Forge account through the secure Forge account service. The launcher reads your account identity, app access and token balance. Recent application choices stay in this browser. Signing out revokes this browser session.
Notes are encrypted in your browser before sync. Restoring your communication identity requires your encryption recovery key; it stays on your device. Contacts and message history are encrypted in browser storage. Keep your recovery key safe: losing it can prevent recovery of encrypted content. Clearing browser data removes local drafts and local message history.
Messages are encrypted before relay delivery; the relay does not store message text. Delivery metadata and encrypted-message hashes are retained for 90 days. Both people must be online. Voice and video calls use encrypted WebRTC connections and are not recorded by Forge. Camera and microphone permission is requested when needed. Direct connections can fail on restrictive networks.
Canvas sends requests and relevant content to your selected AI provider. Web research contacts search and source services. Office opens the Static Labs web editors; other websites have their own policies. Desktop-only applications are identified in the launcher and do not run on this website.
